At Castle App we we take copyright protection seriously and expect our users to do the same. This page provides information for copyright owners or their authorized representatives who wish to report possible copyright infringement related to content available through RWS Technology or the Castle App.
Our platform is a streaming service that hosts a wide range of content. While we make every effort to comply with copyright laws and respect intellectual property, some material may unintentionally appear without our knowledge. We are committed to addressing such issues promptly once notified.
How to File a DMCA Takedown Notice
In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. ยง 512(c)(2)), copyright owners or their authorized agents may submit a written DMCA Takedown Notice to our designated DMCA Agent if they believe that any content within the Castle App infringes upon their rights.
To be valid, the notice must include all of the following:
- Identification of the Copyrighted Work:
Describe the copyrighted material you believe has been infringed, or provide a representative list if multiple works are involved. - Identification of the Infringing Material:
Specify where the allegedly infringing material can be found within our services. Include details such as the title of the movie, show, or content item and any relevant identifying information. - Your Contact Information:
Provide your full name, mailing address, daytime phone number, and email address. - Statement of Good Faith Belief:
Include a statement confirming that you believe, in good faith, the disputed material is being used without authorization from the copyright owner, its agent, or the law. - Statement of Accuracy and Authority:
Declare, under penalty of perjury, that the information provided is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner. - Signature:
Provide your physical or electronic signature as the copyright owner or authorized representative.
Incomplete or insufficient notices may not be processed.
Where to Send Your DMCA Notice
To ensure a prompt response, please submit your DMCA Takedown Notice through the official in-app form or customer service portal within the Castle App.
We do not process notices sent outside the proper submission channel.
If you wish to cancel your submission or communication, written notice must be sent through the in-app Customer Service feature.
Counter-Notification Procedure
If your content has been removed in error or misidentified as infringing, you may submit a Counter-Notice.
To be effective, the Counter-Notice must include the following:
- Identification of the content that was removed and its previous location.
- Your full name, address, and telephone number.
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the U.S. Federal District Court for your area (or the appropriate court if outside the U.S.) and agreeing to accept service of process from the original complainant or their agent.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receiving a valid Counter-Notice, we may, at our discretion, restore the removed content.
Repeat Infringer Policy
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights or violate the DMCA.
We may also restrict or terminate access to our service at our sole discretion if any infringement is deemed significant or violates our Terms of Use.
